Crib Bedding

After we found out we were pregnant, and I was ready to begin thinking about crib bedding I became very frustrated. So many crib bedding(s) weren't gender neutral, and we weren't finding out the gender. Never mind the price tags on some of the sets...my goodness!! One day while wandering through e-bay, I found this set and instantly fell in love!

A good friend (Carol) once told me while chatting, that she loves anything with frogs because of the acronym F.R.O.G. It stands for Fully Relying on God...I instantly remembered this conversation when I saw this set, and thought what a perfect visual reminder to myself each and every time I lay this little one down to sleep to fully rely on Him, to get through the hard times, happy times, trying times, colicky times...the list goes on and on with a baby! I look forward to one day sharing this story with our baby, and letting him/her know the special meaning behind their F.R.O.G bedding!

My favorite place to be...

I can't wait to hold our precious little bundle, in my favorite area of my house! What more could you want...a rocking chair, basket of books, table to set a drink on, homemade quilt,...and a mirror to entertain baby when the distraction needs to start!  This is my favorite part of our entire house (not that it is very big) and I can't wait to share it with our little one!

Hopefully, he or she will love to read as much as his/her family do!

Baby Tannenbaum

It's hard to believe that anywhere from 8-10 weeks we will be parents to this sweet little one, who we know so well, yet have so much more to learn about! What we look forward to most, is finding out whether it will be a little boy or a little girl! While it has been very hard not knowing (mostly for Liz), in the end we think it will be well worth the wait! How often do you get the opportunity to have a surprise like this one, after all?

In the meantime, this little one is kicking around like crazy, along with resting for longer periods of time (hopefully gaining strength for the big day). The baby's favorite thing to do is to play on mommy's ribs like a xylophone (not the most comfortable thing to feel), and loves it when daddy talks to him/her and kicks with excitement! We're still pretty sure that he/she hasn't turned, since most of the baby's kicks are down low. Here is a picture of the little one:

So, what do you think it will be??

The names picked out for baby, are:
